He created a brand known worldwide called “Hard Times” Steve will walk you through his journey on how he found house music and what it did it to him. It was so life changing that he wanted to recreate the first night experience over and over, launching a club night in the North of the UK.

Steve Raine vowed from day one that Hard Times would bring the USA’s underground House elite over to the UK at a time when they were still honing their skills in their homeland. He came up with the plan around the pool in Miami at WMC in 1992.
It was this introduction of what we all now recognize as ‘House Music’s legends’ that lit the Hard Times fire that still burns. Steve is back again with new plans, new parties, new music releases. Watch out there is no stopping him now.

Steve will take us on a trip down memory lane on how he opened up one of the most important clubs in house music history in the golden era of the 1990s. Hard Times is arguably responsible for some of the most defining moments in UK house music over the last few decades.
